Using the Site

CROWDHR, Inc. ('CROWDHR') is the operator of the Website. This Policy describes the type of information CROWDHR collects from visitors to the Website, what we do with that information, and how visitors can update and control the use of information provided on the Website. As used in this Policy, "Personally Identifiable Information" or "Personal Information" refers to any information that you provide to us that can be used to identify you or contact you directly.

What Personally-Identifiable Information We Collect and How We Use It.

Certain visitors to CROWDHR's website choose to interact with CROWDHR in ways that require CROWDHR and others to know a little bit more about them through personally-identifiable information. The amount and type of information that CROWDHR gathers depends on the nature of the interaction as described below. In each case, CROWDHR collects and uses the personally-identifiable information described below only for the purpose of providing the Website and associated services.

Employers: Those wishing to submit a JobPost, which alerts our community of job openings, on the Website (‘Employers’), for example, must supply personal information such as their name, company name, address, industry, telephone number, email address, credit card information (including name, number, expiration date and API number) and financial information as necessary for payment and all other financial transactions with CROWDHR contemplated by the Terms of Use entered into between the Employer and CROWDHR.

Recruiters: Recruiters who sign up to CROWDHR are eligible to submit Candidates to Employers on the Website (‘Recruiter’), will be required to provide additional information, such as name, company name, address, telephone number, email address, company website, personal description, and password.

Candidates: If you are a Candidate, we may collect your resume and any personally-identifiable information contained therein. If you are hired through the Website, we may also learn your base annual salary, and we may use this information to calculate the fee payable to the applicable Recruiter. Recruiters will not share your resume with Employers through the Website without your consent.

Other Information That We May Collect

Log Data: Like most website operators, CROWDHR collects computer-generated information of the sort that web browsers and servers typically make available, such as the user's Internet Protocol (IP) address, browser type, language preference, referring site, and the date and time of each visitor request (collectively, 'Log Data'). CROWDHR' purpose in collecting Log Data is to better understand how CROWDHR' visitors use the Website, so that we can, among other things, improve and enhance the Website and tailor it to our users' needs and preferences. From time to time, CROWDHR may release this information in the aggregate, e.g., by publishing a report on trends in usage of the Website. Finally, we may also use a person's IP address to fight spam, malware and identity theft.

Cookies: A cookie is a string of information that a website or provider of Internet-related services stores on a visitor's computer, and that the visitor's browser provides to the website or services provider each time the visitor returns. CROWDHR uses cookies to develop a better understanding of how individual CROWDHR users interact with and use the Website, and for the purposes for which we may use Log Data. It is possible to link cookies to personally-identifiable information. CROWDHR does so, however, only to: (a) verify the identities of users (i.e. Employers, and Recruiters), who previously have provided personally identifiable information and whom CROWDHR must identify across multiple visits to the Website; and (b) to store the preferences of repeat users of the Website. If you do not wish to have CROWDHR place cookies on your computer, you should set your browser to refuse cookies before accessing and using the Website, but be aware that certain features of the Website may not function properly without the aid of cookies.
